Are They Humming Your Tune?
It It was our tickets to the symphony that brought home this important parallel. My wife announced she had tickets to hear Beethoven's 6th Symphony, but she prefaced the invitation with a warning she said, “The 6th Symphony’s melodic themes just aren’t as memorable as his other symphonies.” Just before the conductor took his final bow and the house lights came up, the analogy became crystal clear. Beethoven put just as much time and effort into this score as any other, the symphony orchestra spent just as much time practicing the movements, the venue worked just as hard promoting and selling tickets, and the people still dressed up and drove just as far to come hear it, but I didn't leave there humming the tune!

This is often the case with the marketing efforts of companies. They put forth the same efforts and make the same sacrifices, go to the same great lengths planning, communicating, crossing the t's and dotting the i's, only to find that in the end their audience isn’t humming their tune. You need a team that has the gift of craft to compose the marketing score that will become the soundtrack of your audience. We will get the people humming your tune.
